Renovated in 1986, The Great Hall Banquet & Conference Center has recaptured its turn-of-the-century style and grace.
Imagine making your grand entrance under a three story atrium, down a sweeping escalator, to a room full of loving friends and family. The spacious atrium (9,450 square feet) features stunning classic architecture, terrazzo and marble floors, and four large chandeliers beneath skylights of translucent glass set in a coffered plaster ceiling.
When you host your special day at our sophisticated and unique banquet center, your reception is exclusiveonly one event a day is hosted in our facility.
2014 Rental Rates
A security deposit of one-half the rental fee is due at the time of the booking and is non-refundable.
A damage deposit of $500 is due 14 days prior to your event.

What are the coordinators responsibilities:This individual plays a key role in your evening. Since all the services at an off premise site are separate services the coordinator makes sure that all of the vendors have arrived on time, has what they need and perform all duties that the client has contracted the vendors to perform. They also make sure that the client’s timeline is followed: Guest arrival, Ceremony (if applicable), Change over, Cocktail hour, Grand March, Slideshow, Dinner, Speeches and the Start of the First Dance. Keeping the timeline on schedule is essential.
They make sure the tables and chairs are properly placed, that the guests are taken care of and that all needs of clients and guests are taken care of. The coordinator arrives 2 hours prior to guest arrival to make sure the room is being set up according to the clients vision and stays until the 1st dance. Est. 6 hours.
If you are having a ceremony than 2 coordinators are required. There is a lot of responsibility when there is both a ceremony and a reception in one site. One coordinator is taking care of the client and the guests and the other coordinator is making sure that change over and vendors are on track.
This ensures that the parents, wedding party, family and friends can enjoy the big day as opposed to working the event.

180 East Fifth, a spectacular 13 story office and special events facility. Located in the heart of the city it has remained a landmark address. The building was designed in 1914 by Charles Frost and built by railroad entrepreneur James. J. Hill. Originally, the building housed Northern Pacific Railroad on one side and Great Northern Railroad on the other, with the atrium (Great Hall), home to First National Bank, separating the two companies.
